This book starts out slowly and is somewhat difficult to understand because there are two stories being told at once and many of the details are left for the reader to imagine or figure out on their own. The story builds to a crescendo and is exciting at the end, however the end is somewhat of a cliffhanger...therefore hooking you into the next book.

Worth reading, but not one of the best I have read.
