This CD was 15 hours, and it was great. It even had an inteview with the author. A very timely fictional story about flight TWA800 that crashed over the ocean near Long Island - and the pusuit of the truth by a retired New York city cop, the FBI and the CIA. The problem was in whether all of the players wanted the truth. Great story.

Lots going on in this exciting audio book. Tough cop/agent "John Corey" refusing to accept a flimsy explanation to a horrific event. Voice of "Corey" adds greatly to my enjoyment of this crafty adventure. Plenty of supporting characters and side stories that come together like a net to support the mystery. Recommend to anyone on a long car trip. No dull moments in this thriller.

Another great Nelson Demille book featuring John Corey, who is an ex NYPD detective and a current contract agent with the Federal Anti-Terrorist Task Force. His wife, Kate, is a task force partner, and five years ago she was an investigator on the TWA Flight 800 catastrophe. Over 200 witnesses reported seeing something shoot up into the sky, hitting the plane, and shooting it out of the sky. Some insist it was a missile. However, our government issued a different version. Kate, who always plays by the rules, knows that John is a rebel. She manipulates him into investigating Flight 800 again, at the risk of their careers. Several great twists and a very surprising ending made this a great read. While the ending did upset me, it was memorable and no way made me want to stop reading Demille.
