This book is very interesting. If you are Christian and believe in Christ's return, then this book will make you think. Pulses have hit the earth, and the electricity is out all over the earth. A community tries to get by without electricity. I am enjoying it.

The second in the series continueing to follow the characters introduced in book 1 and taking a much closer look at the hardships that a complete loss of power worldwide would induce.
For the most part this book deals with charity and the decisions people must make when faced with the choice of putting their own interests and requirements before the needs of others.
I recommend this book to anyone...forces the serious reader to ask themselves how they would deal with these same problems.

This is the second book in a four book series. It follows up with families in Alabama who are trying to survive after all forms of communication have stopped due to a cosmic event of "pulses". They discover that the event is world-wide, plunging the globe into a real "dark age" of having to survive like cavemen. The author makes the situation so real and probable that you can't help but set up a plan to protect what you have and envision what it would take to stay alive. Lawlessness abides as the days and months drag on -- the story focuses on one family and how they cope with the changes in their lives. The series is very interesting!

This was a good read, well done.
I really enjoyed this book. It wrapped up the series in a very satisfying way. Makes you think about what could happen in even less drastic situations. Very good.

Great read! At first I enjoyed the TV series, Revolution, but it became to violent so we stopped watching. This is just as good without the graphic violence and bad language.
The whole series is great. It really makes you think about what could happen and what you could or would do in these situations. The first book made me want to read more and so on.

An excellent continuation of book 1! You will probably enjoy this series most if you read it in order, but there was a great recap of the situation before you started into new subject matter.

The second of the Restoration series picks up where the first left off. It's a quick read and I enjoyed this book as much as the first. This book truly makes one think, what would I do in a similar situation. I've read other books by Terri Blackstock and she writes a good Christian novel.
