No Night without Stars is about a post-apocalyptic novel that takes place centuries after the day the world shook and spit fire and changed the world as everyone knew it. Although a great deal of people died in days to come the ones who survived were changed as were the animals left behind to star a new. The new people are befriended by the animals and make themselves companions of the new people.

Sander was a Smith who was passed over by his people called Jak's Mob after his father died. He wanted to search for the secret of working the strange metals found in the ruins
by the before people, who lived before the apocalypse.

In his travels he come by a ruined village that was burned and meets Fanyi and her animal companions who is the only member left of her tribe and the shaman of her people. She tells Sanders that she has the gift for foresight and sees them doing great things together.

Sander, Fanyi and their animal companions start northeast, going through cities, forests, rivers and more. They find the most dangerous and strange new animals. Cities that have been demolished beyond reckoning dead ships and ancient ruins. Eventually, they find the old knowledge which they had been searching for. Here they meet more danger than they thought they ever would of found.
