Night
A holocaust novella, disturbing, yet not as shattering as others. Read it anyway.

Dawn
Set in the fight against England for freedom of the Jews in the Palestine, this is a portrait of a freedom fighter who is assigned to kill a hostage in retribution for the hanging of another fighter. As disturbing as his holocaust novellas.
