If you love the outdoors you probably know about author Rick bass. This book gives a realistic account examining the attempt to reintroduce an orphaned wolfpack to the Ninemile valley of northwest Montana. If you didn't know a lot about wolves and their plight in the US you will find this book an excellent reference, especially the Ninemile wolf pack featured in the story.

This a fantastic book about wolves. Nature has provided a food chain of predators and prey...and there are a lot of stupid people out there who can't figure out that Mother Nature knows best. Wolves are wonderful animals and this book shows that. This book is absolutely amazing.
