I actually haven't read this book. but I already see a problem with it, based on the description:
"...the Pentagon has placed a brilliant Marine psychiatrist in charge of the base..."
There are no psychiatrists or any other medical types in the U.S. Marine Corps. All medical personnel assigned to the Marines are U.S. Navy personnel.
How did the author make such a stupid mistake?
