An excellent story. Lady Josephine Powell is nineteen and has always been rather fragile in health. After being forced to postpone her coming out for two Seasons, she heads to a local spa town on the doctor's advice. On the way, she is involved in a carriage accident and rescued by Devon Roth, the Ear lof Ravenaugh. Ravenaugh has a bitter family history after the tragic death of his first wife. Consequently, he fights against his attraction to Josephine, who is twenty years younger. But Jo's years as the invalid in a large family have made her exceedingly insightful and she is determined to prove that love should conquer all.
