An amazing book, filled with historical fact but reads like a wonderfully written novel. This follows Victoria from her beginnings as a spiritual medium and her family selling junk cures to people following the civil war, to her and her sister going to Wall Street and beyond. Amazing, inspiring book that I now want to see made into a movie starring Cate Blanchett (there's a real resemblence!)
