I'm new to all this (forums, etc) and am wondering what this forum is about.  I had been regularly working out with weights for the past 2 years.  Unfortunately, I needed abdominal surgery on Oct.4 and haven't got back to exercising yet even though I'm cleared by my doctor.  I'm 50+ and have multiple neck and back issues that improved incredibly by doing strength training functional exercises.  I'm still off work and experiencing post surgical issues that the doc says will go away eventually.  I can't get motivated because I'm constantly tired, headache, and nausea.  Any motivating words or advice?

What about starting really small. Its hard but you have to be patient. Your body is working hard to heal. Maybe a walk around your yard. Get some fresh air and sunshine. Don't push it. You will get there!! Good Luck!
