This is one funny book. I am a psychotherapist, so I paid a lot of attention to the actual clinical, professional details of the various (outrageous) patients Kate treats - Charlotte's research was top notch, all info is correct. This book is an absolute treat. And I am so glad my patient caseload is at least a little tamer than Kate's!

I absolutely love this series (read book one first, What Looks like Crazy) It is funny and full of thrills. It is such a quick read you can read it in one day. I cannot say enough about the fluid writing style and the character development, in my mind I know every one of them!

This isn't rocket science, but it IS fun, escape reading. Kate Holly is a fun character. This book makes you wonder if Janet Evonovich, who often used Charlotte Hughes as a co-writer, actually wrote much of her own books, since the style is definitely Charlotte Hughes.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The charters were life like and funny. I am having trouble finding the remaining two books. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.
Nutcase is the second in a series from Charlotte Hughes, who collaborated with Janet Evanovich on several books. She's a psychologist who is in love with her ex-husband and whose patients are very strange indeed. A quick and fun read.

I picked this up since I enjoyed the first two books in the Full Series by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes. I liked the humor and the feisty heroine. Unfortunately, Nutcase is not in the same class and I wonder if it is because no one is tempering the insanity with a degree of sanity. Dr. Kate Holly is almost as nuts as her patients. One thing after another goes wrong and our TSTL heroine is totally inept and unable to handle her life never mind her practice. Definitely not a series I will be continuing.
