This large-format photo book documents Oasis from March 1994 to April 1995, with images in chronological order. The photographer includes interesting notes, recollections, and stories amongst the many photographs, and these form a cohesive though simple narrative, so the book is more like an extensive tour diary than a picture book to flip through at random.

Slattery doesn't have Jill Furmanovsky's excellent eye for Oasis, but many of his photos are memorable and exciting. The overall effect of the book is to give the reader a realistic, entertaining documentary of life on tour with Oasis from the perspective of someone not quite within the band's inner circle. One gets the idea that the photographer often put his camera down so he could party just when he should have been taking as many shots as he could, but there are some juicy moments moments tossed in: Noel literally falling-down-drunk in a men's toilet, for example! The band come across as very human indeed, wearing normal clothes, driving around in a beat-up old van, and actually playing close enough to their audiences to touch and be touched.

To try to sum it up in a sentence, this book captures all the little moments in life that arrive, happen, and are forgotten the next day, fallen between the cracks of the "important" moments, which are committed to memory (and history).
