Translated from the american (NOT from english) by Anne-Laure Fournier le Ray. Seems like a good translation, based on my limited French. It's very hard to translate poetry. Sam I Am has become Sam-c'est moi (seems like an improvement on the spanish translation, where he's Juan Ramon). The most dramatic line, "I do not like them ANYWHERE" has become "Et quand je dis non, c'est non" (which rhymes with jambon), which keeps the feeling of Mr. Anger. There's a lot of noun meanings that haven't changed much that still rhymes, like renard and placard, maison and raton, la and endroit.
