I really enjoyed these two books which go into depths about Chakotay's life. If you like this character and Voyager, you will love these books! There are two in the series.

Interesting take on characters; but Chakotay and his new crew doesn't really make that much of interesting read. More info on Seven, the Doctor or even Nelix would have been helpful.

If you liked the Star Trek Voyager series, you will LOVE this book. The author really captures the characters as they were portrayed on Voyager in the television show. This is book one of a two book series and I can not wait to start the second book. However, this is the second book of the Voyager Series, the first one was Homecoming and that one left you on the edge of your seat as well... Overall a great series and highly recommended to any Star Trek Voyager fans =)

Chakotay is ready to prove himself as captian of the recommissioned Voyager - but skeptics are watching him closely.
