While I really really wanted to like this book, I am not even able to finish it. I love a good book about faith challenged women, who overcome hard times.
It started out very good, very heart tugging, sad story- but once I ws a third of the way into it, I wondered how many more times I was going to have to read the author state how pretty she is/was!
Her faith, while I am not one to judge, was apparent only when she prayed during her extremely distressful times. She made moral choices, rather nonchalantly, with the after thought- God will forgive. No repercussions on her choices...
And she lived happily ever after. Only when people agree with her.
Pass please...

This book shows the very human side of Brenda Warner. We went to the same large church for a few years, but I, like the majority of the people there, did not know her. Reading this book helped me to "know" her & her family a little better. I enjoyed it!
