I'm always intrigued by the synopsis of her books and then disappointed in the delivery. I know lots of people like her books, so I think it's just a taste thing.

This book provides an enjoyable conclusion to the 2 book "Trading Places" Series. I would highly recommend both this book and the first book in the series "Scandalous Again".

Good book, several funny episodes and steamy scenes! Eleanor is posing as her almost identical cousin and gets trapped by Madeline's fiance who has moved up the wedding.

I thought this book, had suspense as well as romance. I loved the main characters, chemistry that they had with each other. The writer protrayed to murder mystery part of the story very well. It kept you guessing almost till the end on who the actual murderer was.

Loved the story line. While highly improbable that Remington would marry the wrong girl since all reports were contradictory of what he expected, Eleanor became the "strong woman" and stood up for what she wanted. Good historical romance!

Enjoyable but not trribly memborable. I read this a couple weeks ago and can't remember enough of the story to write a detailed review. What I do remember is that Remington was very loveable and Ealeanor's emergence as an independent woman was well written and satisfying.

A bold woman known as the "duchess of Magnus" was wageredand wonin a card game. But the woman who arrived was her shy, quiet cousin Eleanor.

Eleanor de Lacy must have been mad to agree to exchange identities with her stronger-willed cousin. She would never convince Remington Knight of the folly of this unionespecially since the man seemed so determined for it to take place. Worse still, she finds Remington dazzlingly attractiveand she's charmed by his attempts to seduce her, even though he believes she is already his. But if he ever learns of Eleanor's deception, this daring rogue will wreak havoc . . . upon her reputation and her heart.

Remington had expected a haughty, unbending aristocrat who would ensure his entrance into good society. But this "duchess" is a most pleasant surprisemodest, warm-hearted, endearingly awkward, and a delight to the eye. In short, she is exactly the sort of bride Remington could fall passionately, completely in love with . . .

. . . if he weren't so intent on his revenge.
