An interesting if somewhat brief look at the 8th Air Force. Some of the material leaves you longing for more information. The longest section, and that which I enjoyed more, was the account, in his own words, of a new crewman on his first mission. He was shot down and related his experiences until his release by a British tank unit at the end of the war.
