This is a rare find indeed. It is written in plain "kin-folk" language of the true south by a true southern Texas Ranger. You will be amazed at the pictures included of early Texas Rangers and what these brave undefeated men go through to become a Texas Ranger and it explains the why of .... what else - why...very few men in law enforcement make it to the elite ranks of a true Texas Ranger. All told in a writing style that is easy to understand yet not "dumbed down" so as to make it seem fiction because it's anything but that! Very educational, informative, and a must-have for any history buff or Texan historical collector. Very impressive, a easy and fast read. Loved it!
