Intrigue and murder in Paris during the French Revolution. The King is sentenced to die at the guillotine, people are rioting in the streets. A great read for any fan of Anne Perry. Mystery fans will love it for the mystery, and historical fiction fans will love it for Perry's ability to recreate a pivotal time in the past.
