This is an incredible out-of-print book about Jesus as seen through the eyes of the people around him. The paintings are realistic and somewhat sketchy at the same time (see cover art) but convey so much human emotion in every face. The text is brief and conveys the thoughts of the person illustrated.

I have bought every copy of this book that came my way to give as gifts. On Amazon it is considered a collector book and I can't afford it!. I do have one copy that I will keep always.
