I highly recommend it...if you thought Gotrek & Felix's saga had kind of meandered over the last few books, I would have to agree. And it's anyone's guess what happened to William King. Perhaps he just got burned out on writing Warhammer? Fortunately, Nathan Long was recruited to write this eighth installment, and the results are superb. Long has even jumped ahead several years, presumably leaving room for King to return and pen further tales.
Much to his chagrin, Gotrek is still very much alive. Surely, liberating a fortress full of greenskins will bring him his long-sought doom? Nathan Long writes pitch-perfect battle scenes, and has a great ear for the thoughts of Gotrek and an older, wiser Felix.
