I was wondering , if you have a book listed and someone browsing the " books listed today" search, orders a book that  you have listed a week ago. Will they get the book that was just posted, or, will the book posted longest be the one to recieve the request.  I'm not sure I'm asking this right. .... I mean, does the just posted book have to take its place in order of date posted or can your posted book be passed over by a newly listed book?

The system operates as FIFO - first in, first out. So the one posted longest will receive the request (unless they cancel, then it goes to the next person in line, and so on).

You can order directly from a particular person's bookshelf, though. For instance, I could click on the "Book List" that's under your name here, choose a book, and click on "Order This Book" right next to it, and it would come directly from your shelf.

Thanks for asking the question, and for answering, I've been wondering about that.  Love reading these forums, always learn so much.   Hugs Pat

If they click through to your actual bookshelf page and order it there, they can get yours; if they order it off the *book's* page, they get FIFO.
