A very interesting memoir of a sex positive therapist and researcher. Betty Dodson's life is fascinating. This is a very frank book about a topic that remains a mystery to so many. Dodson is not a fan of monogamy and she mentions that. This shouldn't prevent someone like me who believes in monogamy from reading the book. She did what she wanted with her life, but she provides a lot of tips and advice that will be valuable to a woman's intimate life. Her candid account of her lengthy romantic relationship in her 60s with a man in his mid 20s was very eye-opening to say the least. A post-menopausal woman and a recent college graduate! Wow! My hat's off to her. They seem to have a very healthy, genuine, albeit unconventional relationship. If you thought seniors couldn't be sexy, Dodson will prove you wrong! She writes like the wise, sexy older woman that she is. She's very, very open and honest. I appreciated that. There are many illustrations in the book and they add to the points made in the text. I think I'm going to keep my copy. It's a keeper for me.
