The story was interesting but the characters were hard to warm up to. Conversation was clunky. Cliches were used too many times. (The main character 'almost vomited' at least 5 times in the book.) Kind of felt like a Scooby Doo cartoon when the author explained everything as reminders as if the audience were children.
