This picture book is an important account of an actual happening during WWII. It is listed in children's picture book, but, being the only account of this incident, is for all ages. The illustrations are the actual drawings the orphans made after their ordeal. The author is the grand-niece of the American teacher who, in 1946, organized American aid for these orphans.
