Great series. The characters are all very engaging and likable. Diesel, the Maine Coon cat is the star of the show. This particular book was actually my favorite to date. It's a cozy mystery series so there is not a lot of gore but a really well plotted mystery. The family is very warm and endearing. And the hero is a 50 year old male librarian. It is fun to have a hero in that age group. Most are not.
I look forward to each of the books because it's like visiting old friends. Can't say enough about the entire series so far.

Absolutely love this series, especially Diesel. He is so much a part of this series, I love reading about his relationship with the other members of the story. Good mystery and fun people to get to know in this small town atmosphere. Looking forward to more of the same.
The exploits of this Maine Coon cat are remarkable.You;'d think the cat was smarted than the the people. It's refreshing to read the story lines ebd ebjoy ride.

As always, I really enjoyed the exploits of Charlie & his Maine Coon cat, Diesel. When a guest at a fundraiser gala turns up dead, Charlie and Diesel investigate in order to clear Azalia of any wrongdoing. They uncover family secrets of the Ducote sisters that could change several lives.
Very good book. I'd like more like this one.
I really like this series, and I like it even better since his son and daughter moved back home. I also enjoy his borders.
Once again, Diesel the Maine Coon cat, and his human Charlie are investigating a murder, one of the town's richest ladies. Unfortunately, a lot of people didn't like her, so there are a lot of suspects!
