I found this book to be a really interesting read, since I have visited Bald Head Island on several occasions. It was written by a friend of Officer Jones family, and it really makes you wonder why the BHI Police felt the need to handle this case they way that they did. Corruption involving some high profile government officials seems like a plausible reason, especially since they owned property on BHI. The book has quite a few spelling errors, but if you can overlook that, I think you will find it as interesting as I did.
