Note from the Author
I was born in North Hollywood, California. At the age of fourteen years old, I had my first poem published in a book called Our Western Worlds Most Beautiful Poems.
After surviving a traumatic childhood filled with abuse, I began writing as a form of releasing inner thoughts and feelings. I ventured on into adulthood and found myself in relationships filled with mindless verbal and physical abuse. Luckily, through the Grace of God, I was finally able to break the chain of abuse and overcome the mind games of the wicked.
My main goal with this book is to relate hope to those who are currently in a situation that is less than suitable and to help them understand that they are blameless, irrespective of circumstances.
It is my hope that this intuitive book of poetry will capture the true essence of myself and will help my readers come to terms with their inner thoughts, feelings, visions, and dreams.
My hope is that people can relate to my words and associate them with their own situations thereby helping the reader to gain the strength to overcome life's obstacles.
My poems are clearly a long dialogue of metaphors and are not meant to be taken literally. My hope is that while reading each poem, the reader applies the feelings, thoughts, and emotions to their own circumstances or plight.
The great thing about reading poetry is the ability to project meanings and thereby apply the words to your own life experience. I believe that the open meanings used will help in this quest.

Thank You for Reading and My Heart is with Each and Every One of You!
