I read The Into the Wilderness series by Sara Donati a few years ago, and have just started reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. While serching for the next outlander book in the series, the into the wilderness series popped up. Curiosity got the better of me and I clicked on the description for Into the Wilderness. It says it overlaps with the Outlander series and that some of the characters in Outlander appear in Into the wilderness series. I dont remember this-- But I read Into the Wilderness first, I was not aquainted with Outlander yet.

Can someone refresh my memory of WHO from Outlander show up in Into the Wilderness and WHAT scenes they are in. I do remember a Scottish mountain man named Robbie I think. Was that Robbie McNab, the little boy in Outlander with the abusive father? Does anyone else from Outlander appear in Into the Wilderness?

Some of Ian's Indian friends, and Robbie overlap. Plus, I believe the white witch and her red-headed husband are mentioned in Into the Wilderness. It was Donati who took the characters from Gabaldon's world (with her permission, I believe).
