True crime, focusing on the story of Jimmie Ray Slaughter, who killed one of his many lovers and her 11 month old baby to avoid paying child support, then claimed he was a Druid with 'spirit protectors' and said that killing the baby increased his power. Repellent man.
It was well written. A horribly sad story. Really makes you wonder about the freaky people you encounter and just don't think much about...
