A lovely little book about a family that ended up sharing their home with a screech owl when the owl fell out of it's nest. William Service shows much sensitivity toward Nature, and his subject, Owl in this account. He is careful to note that he might be biased in some of his observation, in fact he gives accurate and detailed description of Owl's habits and intelligence and pretty much makes the reader very fond of their pet.
