In the Duck Green School stories, early school experiences are brought to life through a cast of lovable characters. Children can enjoy their own "soap opera" while learning specific vocabulary in context. In the Stage 1 Duck Green Stories, the reception class children find out more about life at Duck Green School, rescue an injured baby bird, and attend a Bonfire Night fireworks party. The books are available in both standard and "big book" format. Stage 1 offers complete stories with a few simple words on each spread and patterned easy-to-read text.
