I was super excited about this book, and I think it is awesome that there is a vegan college cookbook in existence. The recipes are super simple, all can be made with only a microwave, and use only a few ingredients. The problem is that I haven't really liked anything I've made from this book. I've only tried out a few recipes, but they all ranged from so-so to just bad. I still think this book is awesome and I'm not giving up on finding something great in it, but I think if you're not in college and looking for a vegan cookbook there are definitely better ones out there.

Very disappointing. The recipes are based on convenience type foods, which are not nutrient dense at all.

Having said that, the Fro - Yo is easy and my son loves it. Was it worth the price of the cookbook, not hardly.
