  I see you still
Head of Family
Proud Lord of Yard

Protector of Wife
Example for Children

So quietly you work
Enjoying the sun
Your pride of home

The boat rides
The Grape Nuts
Sundays for clams

Your precious Cadillac
The tractor, your tools
Your life's dream of a hole-in-one.

You were at turns our "cheata"
Our "grabba" our comical "stinka"
While playing whist, Mondays at 4.

We loved you more than words...
"What's he doing now"?

You were always there.
You are still always here.

Thank you Donna. I lost my dad in October 2006 and he's still here too. Karen

How precious that you have such details to hold close. I am sure that the writing helps some...keep it up as often as you feel your heart pulling. It does not "go away" but it is "eased" by the comfort of memories. Beautiful work!
