Sobering, thoughtful, well researched. I continue to believe that the US could not fight and win a war like this one again. These guys were truly of the greatest generation.

What an amazing account of the courage and sacrifice the men of the U.S. Marines had during the years they fought against Japan in the Pacific.

Definitly a book that every citizen should read to begin to grasp what it took in order for us to have the freedoms we have today.
