Great book. I suggest you read the series in proper order. I skipped this one and was confused for the next 4 books!

A museum guard falls from a third-story gallery to his death, valuable paintings are being replaced by forgeries, and another guard dies. No one but Max seems interested in finding out the truth. This is the book in this entertaining series in which Max Bittersohn and Sarah Kelling first admit their attraction to each other. Told with the usual MacLeod charm and wit.
