The interesting plot of this book takes up about 50 pages. The rest is all sex related. Granted it was written well, but I guess I just wasn't in the mood. I will read the next book in this series, but I'm not racing out to read it.

Pretty good book, but more sex and not enough vampire killing for my taste. Still, I might read another one in the series.

One of the better vampire huntress type books. Candace Steele works at a Las Vegas casino & moonlights as a vampire slayer. Well written.

Passionate Thirst was OK. Even though I thought Candace and Ash made a good couple, the reason for not wanting to change didn't ring true. She knew what he was and went into it with her eyes open. Without giving anything away, I felt the mystery aspect was a bit contrived and I wished the author gave a more plausible reason for what was happening. It wasn't a total loss though because I want to read the next book.

I wasn't pleased with this series. The novels seem to be a really poor rip-off of Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake books and the writing was pretty unimaginative. The third book was nothing but one ridiculous sex scene after another and the main character kept waffling back and forth on personal angst issues. The most impressive part of this trilogy is the cover art

I'm not sure what I think about this one. I liked it enough that I will definately read the second one. It's interesting it just seemed like there wasn't quite enough depth to it, but then first books in a series can be that way. So much of them tend to be set up.

I did like the author and her writing style though I thought in a few ways it was lacking a great plot.
