This is a wonderful book that has almost everything that you would want to know about the nervous system. Unfortunately, it is out of print. A friend said that it may not have everything you would want to know about the nervous system, but all of the information in the book is correct. While I do not like the use of the term 'all', I have not found anything wrong it the book yet. One concern would be that this might not be the best book for a first introduction to the nervous system. The book is very information dense, and it is very useful to have a basic knowledge of neuroscience. However, if you have a basic understanding and want to learn how the nervous system works, along with an understanding of the major neural pathologies, this is one of the best books.
