Back of book says: Lord Emsworth was content at last. Left alone at Blandings he was free to enjoy the gardens, admire the Empress, and enjoy a good, plain English meal in the comfort of an old shooting jacket and slippers, while perusing a pig book. This idyll is hattered by the arrival of: his sister Constance, back from the US with Vanessa Polk, whom she'd like to see married to Alaric, Duke of Dunstable, whose niece is (well, was) in love with Johnny Halliday, who has to pose as a psychiatrist to...sound complex? It is, and there's only one man who can unravel the mysteries, and insure the proper knots are tied: Galahad Threepwood, last of the Pelicans.

I Say: Be sure you have something to drink and to eat, the rest of the family out of the way, and plenty of time because you are not going to want to put this book down. Don't read it where guffawing out loud will get you wary looks, Wodehouse's wonderfully other-wordly, complicated comedy plots (which by the way quite a mirror of us, if only we will admit it) are habit forming.
