This is my daughter's first chapter book that she has read to us herself (rather than us reading to her). She's in first grade and really enjoys reading, but has been reluctant to branch into chapter books. This one has lots of color illustrations with relatively short chapters and an engaging 'mystery'. She has already asked for the second one!
