This book provides a realistic insight into the prehistoric world as it was, and does so with a gripping intensity, and marrative drive that will please any reader of any genre. Don't miss it. It is a good story.
Sixth of the great anthropologically based series beginning with the settlement of the epi- glacial North American Continent and visiting tribal peoples over the next few thousand years. I loved them all.
I have read all the books in the series and found this one to be the best. It is a thick book but it will capture your attention and you won't notice how many pages you've read. It was interesting to see how Star Shell would reach her objective and I especially liked the characters Otter and Pearl. Five stars for this one!
