Sometimes it's so hard to review books but not give anything away! Another Saul winner. He's not afraid to take risks in his stories and I didn't even have a guess until page 296 and the final story didn't really come out until the bitter end (and bitter it is!)
This was an enjoyable book and has made me a John Saul fan. The story about a high school girl that eventually becomes kidnapped keeps you interested. It's a very quick read. The story is not so far fetched that it couldn't possibly happen and that increases it's appeal.
A young girl vanishes from her bedroom during the night. Then more people go missing. A neighbor lost his wife and children to a fire. The neighbors sense a stranger in this tragedy. Someone is trolling this peaceful neighborhood, harvesting victims.
