We loved all the books in this series both my kids made me read them over and over again. They do have several words per page, and are longer than aver I think, so not for those wiggly can't sit still type of kids but more for those who simply love to be read to.
This book follows Eeyore's desire to have a pet for company. He dreams of different pets he could have but none of them ultimately fit his desire for companionship. Then he meets a catepillar! It becomes his best friend until oneday it makes a cocoon and he becomes puzzled. Christopher Robin explains to him it will become a butterfly and Eeyore is delighted to see the new form his friend takes.
