I felt so bad for Raphaella, because she thought that she owed John Henry her whole life, and was devoted to him and then she finally got to meet the man of her dreams, its a wonderful book, with a great story line.
I read this book 20 years ago and I found it quite interesting. I still recall the theme of the book. It's like...you have a good life. Possibly lost some passion; but life is comfortable. She then meets a stranger...and she begins to wonder..what if her life were different.
This is Danielle Steel the way she used to write, when character development was integral to the plot. Very good.
"A Perfect Stranger" is one of Steel's better books.
excellent book about marital honor and integrity. a woman's choice to stay with a sick husband; a husband's choice to set her free. Utterly heartwarming and very much
