Escaping to the Seascape Inn on the Maine coast is just what Nicolle Stone needs to clear her mind and figure out what to do about her future. She's come to the Seascape to get away from the two men in her life-- her father and Willett Porterfield, her father's protégé. Willett is convinced Nicolle loves him and will marry him and he has the full support of Nicolle's father. There's only one problem-- Nicolle doesn't love Willett. When Willett shows up at the cozy bed and breakfast, Nicolle thinks her vacation is ruined. Then she meets the perfect stranger and concocts a plan to drive Willett away... only it doesn't work! Willett is determined to win Nicolle back from her new lover and Nicolle finds herself attracted to the stranger who helps her. Joel Brannon needs this month in Maine to get working on his next novel. After a long dry spell he has a deadline to meet, but the ideas aren't coming. The Seascape Inn seems like the perfect place to relax, research and write-- until Nicolle pops into his life and asks him to assume the identity of her lover. He agrees to go along with her plan but when Willett refuses to leave, Nicolle pleads with Joel to continue the lie and he agrees. Joel wants to get to know Nicolle better-- and what better way to do that than by sharing a room with her? Something mystical is going on at the Seascape Inn! Between the kind-hearted caretaker, Hattie, and her other-worldly loved ones, love is bound to blossom is this quaint seaside inn! Join the quirky, sometimes kooky, antics of the whole Sea Haven Village gang and you won't be disappointed.
