I have this one waiting for me. I haven't heard a lot about it, though... looks like at least two people liked it :)

We read it in my book club, and I agree, it was delightful.  I've also read another one by the same author that was good as well, New Mercies

I also enjoyed this book! I got it because I'm a quilter and a fellow quilter/reader recommended it. I read some of her other books (Alice's Tulips) and the diary of maddie spencer? and one about a chili queen that was pretty strange! I found the diary one most disturbing..good but heartbreaking in places.

I had found this book while I was just browsing the library shelves last week and decided to put it on my TBR.  I'm so glad to hear how good it is.  Yay!

Well, I just finished this and I have to agree with the other posts. I really enjoyed it.

I'm still wondering whether to post it or keep it.

I just finished her book "Tallgrass"--about a detention camp for Japanese (U.S. citizens) in Colorado during WWII.  Excellent.  Marian

I have it on my TBR pile. I have never read any books by her and hope to get to it soon. It sounded interesting in the reviews here.

Anything by Sandra Dallas has been good.  I'm having a hard time deciding whether to give mine up to the bookshelf or not.

I have requested several copies of this book from PBS. This way I can give it to peaople to read and not worry about getting it back. It started with lending it to my mil for a vacation we took together. She loved it soi much she asked if she could borrow it to lend to a friend that was laid up. I figured... Let her share it .. a gift that keeps on giving! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I do have one copy on my shelf that stays there....
