The Photo Essay is full of real examples and ideas for writers and photographers who would like to make money, or maybe they would like to make even more money than they already are, from their writing and/or photography. It does, in fact, propose something the marriage of the two skills, photography and writing. The book shows photographers who can string a couple of sentences together how to create a piece of work that will sell online and to newspapers and magazines, or self-publish it on Kindle; for writers it will show you how to enhance your articles by adding images to them. I am a freelance photojournalist with more than 30 years of experience. To date, I have published more than 4,000 published articles; more than 600 of them were/are photo essays that were published by newspapers and magazines, the rest ? most of them photo essays too ? have been published on the web in one form or another. I also have more than 35 books to my credit, and I have sold more than 10,000 photographs. I tell you all this because I would like to show you that I do know what I?m talking about. I will also show you that the idea that you can (anyone can) create a photo essay that will sell and resell really does work; on Kindle alone, you can sell and resell your work and GET PAID each time it is read/downloaded. I will show you how to create photo essays that will produce a steady income for you, year in and year out. And it works just as well for writers as it does for photographers, maybe even better.
