Is there a way to pick someone to give your wishlisted book to?

Yep, if they have the book on their wishlist, you just go into their wishlist, and click Post this Book from there.  Just make sure you post it from their wishlist page, and don't click the book description first.

But how do you find it?  I mean, I know how to search for wishlisted books....but how to find the people that are wishing for it?  Am I making sense??  I've had a long day.....LOL!!!

Tara, you would have to know to go to a specific member's wishlist.  There's no way to get a list of people who have a certain book wishlisted.

When you post a wishlisted book, it will automatically go to the first person in the wishlist line for that book. If there is a specific person you want to send it to, you'd need to know what their name is and post the book directly to their WL as explained above. If you don't have anyone in mind, the system will do all the work for you.

You could go to the book bazaar and say you are wondering if anyone wants the book. Someone is bound to post a response. :)

I had a wish list book last week, was only going to the PO one day so I posted in the book bazaar for anyone who had it on their WL an would accept it quickly so I could mail it and I sent it to the first person to respond. I did that after someone else did it. I didn't want to wait around for a week for someone to respond like it's been happening recently. The last WL book I posted took a week to get it accepted to mail out.

I had a thought but don't know if anyone has already said it, so forgive me if they have....I skimmed, and I'm in a bit of a hurry....sorry.

IF you know the person, you can get them to gift you the credit, and pm you their name and address and send it to them that way...just simply take it off your bookshelf.  I'm assuming this would work....I'm assuming if you wanted to pick the person you must know them.

Just a thought..

and now I just saw the reply above that said basically that you had to know the person.  I KNEW that would happen. :) just trying to help! LOL
