This is a good book, as are all of Gary Paulsens books. At sixty he decided that he wanted to ride from New Mexico to Alaska as he was getting older and wanted to do this for a long time. It tells of the people he meets and the adventures he had. Gary Paulsen writed mostly teen books but some of his others are really good.
