Lady Kendra Townsend lives with her father in England. They received word from her father's twin brother that he had financial debts that needed some restoration. In a loving response, her father wanted to help his brother. Little did they realize that he would completely destroy their lives.
On a journey to visit her Aunt and Uncle in America, she meets a charming captain of the ship The Angelina. She is starting to fall for him but wants to be guarded. The way she handles all situations is by leaning on God to guide her life and trust in His way for her.
This was a good novel. It often showed how people struggled in various ways with faith and the materialism of the world as well. It is a romantic Christian fiction tale. There was certainly adventure and mishaps throughout it as well.

Another great book by this author! The chemistry between Kendra and Dorian is unmistakeable and their bantor is entertaining. I enjoyed John and it was very easy to dislike Angelene. Don't be mislead by the title as this is not a big pirate story, but it does give you one good pirate scene. A great Christian romance!
